My parents are in town (WOOHOO!), there’s all sorts of cooking to be done (let’s not even talk about the cleaning), and, as always, my mind is full with far more posts than there is ever time to write.
So I’m giving myself a break.
Who knows if I’ll actually take it? Last time? Not so much. But I’m giving it to myself nonetheless.
And to you, I give this: the Boychick on Halloween, in his pumpkin T-shirt and my vampire-queen tiara (having stolen borrowed after much harassment after asking so very adorably), maybe-enjoying his first ever sucker (lollipop). Revel in the cute.

Bad photo, cute kid

In my bathroom hangs a plaque with a picture of a yin yang and the word BALANCE. I can never get it to hang straight. This probably says something deep and meaningful about my life.
Absolutely adorable!!
What a cute kid.
Gorjus! I wish I could let my boy’s hair grow long and pretty like that, but his crazy cowlicks make it look just awful, like he slept on gum.
Thanks! We’re quite fond of him as well.
He’s yet to have a hair cut. Not sure whether/when he will, but I’ve always said not until at least three years’ old. Which, *sob*, is coming up far too quickly!
Yay for breaks! They do wonders for sanity <3 The boychick is beautiful, and I love his hair. Keagan's hair wasn't trimmed/cut for the first time until he was three and a half. The only thing I regret about that is giving in to people who were pushing me to cut it.
Adorable! And BTW, I think I remember you from the old Ms boards? I was China Cat Sunflower.
Thank you! But nope, I was never on the Ms boards. Other than AOL and CompuServe (as a kid/early teen), my first online forum was a wool diaper cover knitting community, and all the ones I’ve been on since have been parenting or birth related.
Okay, well, I guess the breast-feeding Oregonians are all running together in my mind, no offense!
You have a great blog, following you on Twitter.
