I felt a similar swell of pride when my four-year-old son pointed out, kind of indignantly, that Disney&#039;s &lt;i&gt;Aladdin&lt;/i&gt; (I know - I know - I didn&#039;t buy it) has only &lt;i&gt;one&lt;/i&gt; woman character, and isn&#039;t that weird. &quot;Yes!&quot; I told him, &quot;Yes, it is weird. Some people think male things are better than female things.&quot; (I&#039;m paraphrasing: this was a few months ago.) &quot;Well, I don&#039;t,&quot; he said.

Long may &lt;i&gt;that&lt;/i&gt; continue! Now I just need to find a way of drawing his attention to the breathtaking racism in the same film...</description>
