For some reason some people just really seem to get their jollies off by noting/commenting/screaming at blogs. I will never understand this...at least I don't think I will. I've gotten plenty of hate and I rarely write, never advertise and gaurd my words most carefully. Go figure.

If blogger lets me leave a comment then I would like to say...woah...I really really want to know what set you off lol.

I'm not surprised you're getting comments that aren't particularly pretty since people act really badly when they are threatened with the truth.

Breeze

No worries, Summer! The honor of being linked to (thank you, by the way!) far outweighs any risk of trolls. And it wasn't yours, anyway. :)

Uh-oh, now I feel guilty. I linked to your blog in my last post and my personal troll left a few nasty comments about me. I hope she didn't get bored and decide to click over and leave some here also. \

"I have an ornery streak, so I'm tempted to post a comment that would get deleted."

:-P (Seriously, I'm laughing. I too often have that reaction.)

"I hope sometimes you post 101-level thoughts so some of us can catch up."

Any particular requests?

I have an ornery streak, so I'm tempted to post a comment that would get deleted. But I also hate it when people don't listen to me, so I'm going to restrain myself.

Seriously, boundaries are important and your comment policy reflects the assumption that your readers agree on the basic feminist thought. Lots of words can be wasted debating/discussing the basics. But I hope sometimes you post 101-level thoughts so some of us can catch up.

Sorry blogger is being such a pain. Not sure why it doesn't want to email you.
